The CIBA Commercial Real Estate Insurance Program is a comprehensive “package product” for most Lessor’s Risk Only (LRO) class properties.  CIBA which is an acronym for the Commercial Industrial Buildings Owners Alliance utilizes the underwriting facilities of only the most stable and financially secure carriers available. CIBA's unique and innovative insurance Program has been a benchmark for providing commercial property owners and managers with broad insurance protection at competitive rates.  Since its inception in 1993, CIBA has experienced significant growth and continues to realize the benefits of expanding its business across more than forty states.

The Program was originally designed by real estate owners and managers to cover one thing…..property. The CIBA manuscripted property policy form is arguably the broadest in scope of coverage on the market. Where other carriers use a canned ISO form and attach endorsements to “tailor” their product for a particular risk, they do not.

The CIBA Program total insured values is now in excess of $50 billion and within this limit they protect over 300,000 apartment and condominium units, making them a formidable player in this arena.  As a result of their size,  CIBA is able to negotiate extremely competitive rates.  Program coverage limits are established, continuously monitored and adjusted, if necessary, to ensure that each participant’s purchased coverages are available to protect their commercial real estate investment.
